This was my first and only comic and my first exploration into the themes of replacement, the need for space and the lack of nostalgia. The illustrations are based on photographs and the events in the zine are all real. I had originally wrote a fair amount of prose for this project but ended up chucking all of it, preferring a simple visual and one sentence description. I did still print all the prose, but at a small font size on the C2 and C3. It is still barely legible but if the reader wasn't looking for it, she wouldn't know it was there.
